COTSWOLDS DAY 3...BOURTON ON WATER, STOW ON WOLD, MORETON IN MARSH

Today we visited 3 little towns in the Cotswolds; Bourton on Water, Stow on Wold, and Moreton in Marsh.  Real pretty places with lots of beautiful old buildings.  There was an Inn in Stow on Wall that claimed to be the oldest Inn in England with a reported date of 947 A.D., you can deside on that one.  Bourton on Water was the prettiest of these towns.  We also went to the Bugatti Trust Bugatti Museum and the Cotswold Motoring Museum in Bourton on Water.  The first half of the day was a car day.  Tomorrow we are going to the historic races at Silverstone Race Track.  Enjoy the pictures of the villages.  I am doing a completely different post, on our blog,  for the cars we saw today if you are intersted.  Had some real fun with the left side of the road motorsports today; still no deaths or damage.

Easy to see how it gets its name of Bourton on Water.

The Methodist have lots of churches in England.

Pub were we had lunch.

This Inn is supposed to be the oldest Inn in England  947 A.D.

This door on this old Inn is one slice of wood 3 feet wide.  Came from a big tree!
