Chianti and Volterra

Today we visited Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castella in Chianti, and Volterra.  The first three are little wine villages that produce Chianti wine.  Volterra is over 2000 years old, originally founded by the Etruscan people who predate the Romans.  Carving alabaster, a rock from the area. is an important art form.  It is a very beautiful city.  We were going to Siena today but our plans changed, after a ride in the back seat of a Police car by Nonette and Jerry driving in pedestrian only areas without a drivers license or passport.  Shades of Ricky and Lucy in Italy.  We think we could make some money on the movie rights of this story.  Ask for details after we get back.
