ALBI, FRANCE

Albi was a settlement in the Bronze age 3000 to 600 BC.  The Romans had a small settlement here.  The Pont Vieux bridge (Nonnie and I are in front of in the first picture)  was built over the River Tarn in 1040 and Albi has been on the go since.  The Cathedral was started in around 1280.  The town is quite larger than Sarlat but just as beautiful.  Europeans have lots of old stuff, they are proud of it, and they take care of it.  Enjoy the pictures from today.
