THE SWISS ALPS AROUND LAUTERBRUNNEN

Today Nonnie and I had a great day walking about 10 miles through the Alps.  We took a gondola up from our village of Lauterbrunnen, on the valley floor, to Murren on the upper valley.  We walked from Murren to Gimmiwald and took another gondola down back to the Lauterbrunnen valley. We walked back to Lauterbrunnen visiting Trummelback Falls that has cut caves through the mountain.  5200 gallons of water per second fall through these caves.  Check out the hang gliders and go all the way to the end of the pictures for 3 videos.  These words are useless to describe the pictures you are about to see.

After 9 miles of walking you put your feet up and have a Coke.

On the right in the middle is the village we stayed in Lauterbrunnen

One of 73 waterfalls in the valley
